Olympic Memories
A proud time to be a Canadian!
For two weeks at the end of February, Vancouver became the center of worldwide attention as we hosted the 2010 Winter Olympics.
It was a great time to be Canadian, as Canada brought home a record 14 gold medals, 7 silver and 5 bronze medals.
Beyond just the medal count, there was an undeniable energy throughout the city for those two weeks as we embraced the world and showcased our patriotism. It was hard to not get caught up in the festivities happening all over greater Vancouver, and many staff members made the most of this once in a lifetime experience. Thanks to the JR Direct staff for sharing your pictures with us.
We’d also like to send a special thanks out to our own Dexter MacRae and Ryan Garnett who were a part of the 26,000 volunteers who helped make these games memorable for Canada and the world.
