The JR Direct Trade Show Team is Back from London
The International Direct Marketing Fair is one of the busiest trade shows for JR Direct as most of our clients, vendors and colleagues from around the world convene in London. With the daily marathon of meetings, dinners with clients, and parties into the wee hours of the morning, it was definitely an action-packed trip for the JR Direct trade show team.
As our 10th year exhibiting at the fair, JR Direct celebrated by giving away a 32GB iPod touch. We would like to thank all the people that stopped by our stand and entered the draw, but there could be only one winner. And the lucky winner of the iPod touch was Anders Madsen of NN Markedsdata from Denmark!
While trade shows are not all about the prizes and the parties (who says?), there was some serious business conducted.
The Data Processing Services team spent a majority of their time at the stand promoting their services as well as the services of the rest of our departments. They met with current clients and met some new contacts.
List Sales was excited to introduce their new service, Direct My Mail, which is currently available in the Canadian, US, and UK markets. The team spent much of their time meeting with clients and list suppliers. We are happy to say that we also made many new contacts at this show.
The Consulting team had some exceptional meetings with clients and came up with a lot of new ideas and new projects. Meeting with their clients is more like meeting up with friends.
We were also excited to introduce our new service of Copywriting , which compliments the direct marketing services we offer.
All-in-all, it was another successful year at the International Direct Marketing Fair and we can’t wait to see everyone again at the DMA08 Conference & Exhibition, October 11 – 16th. See you in Vegas, baby!
