JR Team Returns From Africa
Our team has returned from what was by all accounts a fabulously memorable and productive visit to Cape Town South Africa.
Spending time working together with JRDirect client MOMi and supplier Gecko, the three were able to accomplish their rather large set of objectives but were able to move onto other topics and outline additional projects.
The benefits of face to face contact were felt by all the members of the team. “We’ve come out with a better understanding of the MOMi operations and made connections with almost all the staff there. Previously we had only met a handful of the key individuals so it was great to put names to faces and build a relationship with those we'd never met but worked with quite a bit” Says Consulting Manager Kris Gibson.
Jennifer Cowden, List sales manager noted that “In addition to the productive meetings they had with MOMi, List Sales was also able to meet with several vendors located in Cape Town and Johannesburg such as List Perfect, Prescon and Marketing List Services, to name a few. Building on current relationships and with the new relationships they have forged, List Sales hopes to increase business in the South African market.”
While the team spent most of their time working hard, the JR Direct team enjoyed the opportunity to take in the miles of coastline, unique wildlife and breath taking views Cape Town has to offer.
The entire team expressed their sincere gratitude for the world class hospitality and generosity afforded to them on this trip.
