JR Direct at the DMA06 Conference & Exhibition

San Francisco, CA, October 15th – 17th, 2006

Roll the dice and win every time with JR Direct.

Click, click, click, click, click…If you were anywhere near the International Pavilion, you would have heard the clicking sound of the JR Direct Prize Wheel. Over 300 prizes were given out to people who stopped to take the challenge to “Spin to Win”. The prizes included a Lottery Ticket Scratcher, Dice Stress Ball, Playing Cards, Dice Mint Tin, and Traveling Game Set. Plus, we had an exciting Grand Prize Draw for a Deluxe 500 Clay Chip Poker Set. The winner of the draw was Celise Verge from Empire Marketing!

JR Direct is back from Asia.

Welcome back to Kris Gibson, Consulting Manager, and Maarten Koorn, List Sales Account Executive who recently returned from their Asia trip to Hong Kong and Tokyo.

Their whirlwind trip included meetings with various vendors, clients, and even a stop at the Direct Marketing Fair 2006 Tokyo on Wednesday, October 4th.

The face to face meetings went a long way to establishing stronger relationships with current contacts, assessing each other’s needs a little more, and identifying new opportunities to share. JR Direct has a long history of helping mailers establish themselves in the Japanese market, and this trip has proved valuable in strengthening this service.

A warm thanks to all those who took the time to meet with Kris and Maarten, and especially those who helped with ordering food in some rather unique restaurants.  It’s safe to say the boys would have been hopelessly lost without the assistance of the local experts.
