JR Direct Gives Back - 2009.

Another successful year raising money and food for the Food Bank!

Every year during the month of December JR Direct conducts a food drive to collect funds and donations for the local food bank.   For over 20 years Ladner has been the home of JR Direct and the food drive is one way we give back to a community that has been so good to all of us for so many years.

As usual the company was split into teams to challenge each other to raise the most money.  Events included a raffle, dodge ball tournament, sumo wrestling, bingo, ‘name that tune’, silent auction, and putting challenge to name a few.   As usual the competition was fierce and ultimately one team, ‘team fitness’, was crowned the winner.  Of course the real winner is the food bank, and we are happy to say we were able to donate over $3,500 AND a truck full of food.

We’d especially like to thank all the external supporters who contributed to the cause as well, including Mail Order Management, Florida Mail Order Consulting, Broadway Refrigeration, Keith Davies, Phoenix Benefits, and Seigneuret & Company.
