JR Direct’s Annual Sports Day

Once again, the JR Direct Social Committee hosted a fun-filled lunch hour filled with competition, games, and lots of laughs. We were randomly divided into 3 teams, the Pink Team, Green Team, and Blue Team to fight for first place.

 Game #1 – JR Direct’s Next Top Model
What’s an egg race without a little model twist? In this traditional game, a player has an egg on a spoon and has to run a distance to pass it to their teammate. Well, the Social Committee decided the game was a little boring as is, so instead of running, each player must showcase their best model walk.  And, each player had to “do a little turn on the catwalk” and successfully complete a 360º turn!

Game #2 – The Price is Right
That’s right everybody, Bob Barker says Come on Down! Just like the TV Show, the object of this game is to match up the right price with the right object. Each player gets one price point to match up with an object and the team with the most correct, wins!

Game #3 – Mine Field
In this game, each team selected a director and paired up the rest of the players. The paired players were blindfolded and linked together. The director then had to direct the pairs towards objects randomly placed throughout the field. Each of these objects had points assigned to them, the smallest object being the most points.

Game #4 – Greg Says
Just like Simon Says, what Greg Says, you do or else you get booted from the game. Team members were only supposed to do the task when Greg specifically said “Greg says do this”. Greg was very tricky and got a lot of people out quickly!

 And the winning team is….the Green Team!
Congratulations to Kris, Cy, Ritchie, Dom, Christian, and Daryll.  The winning team won a fantastic tiara and wand…the guys looked fabulous with their winnings.
