Meet the New Guys at JR Direct

When we say Guys, we literally mean guys! The newest members of the JR Direct team are Morgan, Christian, Paul, Daryll, and Ravi. Like a good mullet, these guys are all business up front and party in the back. Get to know a little about their professional and personal sides and view their pictures and brief bios below.

Meet Morgan Cartier List Sales Account Executive Morgan has been with JR Direct for 6 “glorious” months. Before joining the JR Direct team, he was a photographer and then worked at an ad agency in the creative department which was a good eye opener that “Morgan funny” isn’t always everyone’s funny. When asked what he likes most about his job, he replied, “It is extremely interesting to work with countries all over the world; it makes you realize how small this earth is, though I wouldn’t want to paint it.” Don’t ask – it’s his quirky sense of humour coming out! .
Meet Christian Maudet Consulting Account Executive Christian joined the Consulting department 16 days ago and is enjoying the professional and friendly work environment, plus the fact that he doesn’t have to wear a tie! Originally from Argentina, he speaks fluent Spanish and English (phew, because most of us don’t speak Spanish!). Prior to coming to JR Direct, he worked for a chocolate company – not sure that the rest of us would give that up, but we are sure glad that he did as he’s a great addition to the JR Direct team. .
Meet Paul Dickson Applications Developer Paul has been with JR Direct for just over 5 months now and enjoys the opportunity to do what he likes in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Eight months ago, Paul moved from Wales, UK to Canada and previously worked as a software developer for mobile devices. If Paul looks a little tired some days, it’s probably because he’s up at all hours in the night watching English football games that he can’t get enough of! .
Meet Daryll Yeng Accounting Clerk Daryll joined the Accounting department almost 4 months ago after completing his Accounting Diploma. What he enjoys most about JR Direct is the great people and work environment.  When asked what his favorite part was, he noted “coming in to my comfortable chair, and working in the same office as the beautiful Marketing Co-ordinator” (who happens to be the editor of this article). Daryll is most known for his big hair – just look at his picture, and that’s flattened down! .
Meet Ravi Maan Account Receivable Coordinator As the newest JR Direct team member, Ravi’s been with us for 1 week! He comes to us from eBay Canada, from their billing department. He’s looking forward to working with a great team and a great company. What should his co-workers know about him?  He needs his coffee in the morning, so watch out!
