JR Direct believes in protecting an individual’s right to privacy, while recognizing business needs to collect personal identifiable information. JR Direct has privacy policies in place and an individual responsible to ensure the policies and processes continually improve in the protection of an individual’s right to privacy.

Practices and Policies
As a company we have incorporated practices and policies to protect the personal information of our staff, our clients, and our clients’ clients. Our employees know where and who has access to their personal information, and any policy that is adopted by JR Direct has been vetted from a privacy compliance perspective. Our clients know and trust that we have processes and policies in place to protect their assets.

Protection of Information
JR Direct is a service provider to the direct marketing industry that works for and on behalf of mailers. Due to the nature of the industry, JR Direct has always been concerned with the protection of personal information and has built in the ethics, processes, policies, and safeguards to ensure protection of personal information entrusted to us by our clients.

Data Security
Should any of our clients forward a request to remove a customer from their databases held at JR Direct, that request is processed on a priority same day turn around. In addition, our systems are designed to limit user access, as well as having separate secure servers that store client data which are protected from both internal and external non-authorized access.

Strict Adherence to Regulations
We strive to follow and adhere to the Personal Information Protection Act of British Columbia, Canada. Should we receive a request from an individual in regards to information that may be contained in one of the databases we hold on our clients’ behalf or in our corporate files; we will adhere to the following process. Within 10 business days of receipt of the request, we will provide you with a form to fill out to ensure the search is performed accurately and in a timely manner. You will be required to approve the quote for the costs associated with this search, as well as provide identification to confirm your identity. Once we have received the completed form, fifty percent deposit of the value of the quote, and confirmation of your identity, we will commence the search of the databases and corporate files for the information you requested.
